At the event, Nick Arrojo and Gerard Scarpaci, two pioneers of modern creative hairdressing, demonstrated contemporary techniques in scissor and razor cutting, as well as creative and editorial styling. The idea: show the value of proper craftsmanship and creative versatility; inspire with fashion-forward and functional, beautiful, wearable hair; and display techniques stylists can use to feel motivated, and to improve their work with clients on the salon floor.

We are sad to announce the departure of a longtime friend and amazing colorist, Ehren Clodfelter. Ehren was an extremely important part of the Fresh family and an invaluable asset to the Fresh team. We would like to wish Ehren the best of luck as he moves forward with his life in New York.
Fresh is aware that it may be hard to adjust from a colorist with whom you are compatible and feel completely comfortable with and we are absolutely prepared to help each and everyone of you transition in the smoothest way possible. In order to provide you with the same FRESH results, Ehren has left behind several recommendations which we will be happy to pass along in the thoughts of offering the same great service he continued to provide you.

What is Trend Vision you ask ... In this annual competition, stylists choose one of the trends created by Wella Professionals trend forecasters and by Global Creative Directors. Stylists competed in one of two categories:
YOUNG TALENT: Open to hairdressers of 30 years of age or younger, this category honors the best in class interpretation of a Trend Vision 2011 trend that delivers an overall look.
COLOR: The color category is open to stylists of all ages, and recognizes exceptional color work interpreting a Trend Vision 2011 trend.
Monday, June 18th Fresh participated in a Trend Vision 2011 photo shoot, here at the salon! The results were amazing! We want to send our best wishes out to all the participants... Nikki Prendergast, Ehren Clodfelter, Jen Spil, Tia Stillwell, and Julia Vittorio. Keep your fingers crossed!!
